Compact MSCB - Multi Service Chilled Beams - ANMC Hospital
Frenger have successfully exported their slimline Compact™ ‘active’ Multi Service Chilled Beams (MSCBs) to the US. The ANTHC Sky Bridge, in Anchorage, Alaska, has recently been constructed to connect the Patient Housing facility to the ANMC Hospital to offer improved access for patients and families that have to travel to ANMC for care.
Frenger worked closely with the design team Jernstrom Engineering (Mechanical consulting engineers), EIC (Electrical engineers) and KPB Architects to provide an ‘active’ Multi Service Chilled Beam (MSCB) solution that in addition to providing the cooling, heating and ventilation requirements these attractive MSCB units also provide fully integrated continuous LED lighting to deliver the lit environment across the Sky Bridge. The ‘active’ MSCBs were procured and installed by local contractor Slayden Plumbing & Heating Inc.
Frenger’s Multi Service Chilled Beam (MSCB) solutions offer a fully
Integrated Service Module which can be designed to accommodate building
services to provide not only the mechanical space conditioning but can
be tailored in terms of visual appearance and the services it can
accommodate, in order to meet project specific requirements. In this way
our MSCB solutions create a comfortable and attractive internal space
environment.
